I LOVE MONKEYS!!! We keep seeing these goofy little monkeys playing on top of buildings, jumping on each other and doing all sorts of funny things! Mommy finally got want she wanted or she will soon. We went to get lunch today and she ordered a 72 pack of diet coke (which will be delivered soon). That’s a lot of diet coke but it might not last that long with her…Everybody that we met said that it only rains in the Summer here and today it was just pouring-strange.
The driving is a little nuts here (and loud) so if you look at it from the pictures I took you will
think there are at least 100 accidents a day…nope the traffic is a little crazy but the people are good drivers …but the rickshaw drivers are a little off…A rickshaw is like an Indian taxi. We don’t know how to speak in Indian so we show the rickshaw drivers a piece of paper so they know where to go. Then they go "yah yah I know I know"-No you don’t know. Every time we get a rickshaw he goes the wrong way. For example today we asked him to drive us to where we live so he goes yah yah I know I know –no you don’t. He drove us to this weird place and got out to ask directions. Well if you say yah yah I know I know then yah yah you should know!
That’s all for now from trooper #2.
Peace out (again),

HI guys- Good morning. Sophie, Uncle Andy and Aunt Sandy here. Sammy is still sleeping. We are doing new things here everyday. Now, we love to have running races in our empty dining room. Sophie is great at it but Sam also starts before "go". He's cheating already. Yesterday I tried to get video, it was so funny, he was wearing footsie pajamas and he kept slipping. He's such a toughy, without a word, he picked himself up and kept going! The video was unsuccessful though... as soon as they see it, they go berzerk, yelling, it's "mine" as Sophie's loves to say. She's also learned to say "it's my turn". everything is "my turn". Poor Sam, it's never "his turn". I keep telling Sophie though, that by the time he's 2, he'll be bigger than her so she better watch out. They are aleady wearing the same size diapers (size 6!!!) and are only 2 pounds apart. Signing off for now. Just saw your mommy's email, will try to send photos today.
Love, Aunt Sandy, Uncle Andy, Sophie and sleeping Sammy
Sloan and Hayley, I feel like I'm in India with you your blogs are so descriptive. Glad your trip is going better than last time I read your blog (top ten reasons I hate India).
Thank goodness your mom is not driving one of those rickshaws ... it's hard enough for her to get to connecticut in under 3 hours, let alone a new country with monkeys and crazy drivers on the road.
Hope that diet coke arrived safely for mom. How's dad doing?
Your mom will be glad to know she missed the first snow of the season. It flurried last night and was 30 degrees. Nicole thought there would be a 2 hour delay for school today, but no such luck. She actually has to go to school (and not eat potatoe chips while learning!)
Next week is Thanksgiving as you know, and we're having lots of family here (25 people!) and then we're going to Rhode Island the next day because Alexa is in a cheerleading competition.
Can't wait to read about your next adventures in India.
Soan and Hailey:
Everyday I can I look to see if you have written anything. I love hearing about all your adventures! I am just so sorry we can't talk about them when I call on Skype. I am going to bring home some speakers today and try again. I also finally bought a phone card so that at least we can talk while I stare at the pictures of you all. Hailey you looked pretty awesome. Please take a picture and put it on the blog. Sloan, what did you wear? Were you wearing an Indian shirt? I guess you are on your way to your Indian-American thanksgiving. How is the trip going...can't wait to hear and about the wedding too. Everytime I see you I can't believe you're in India. I love you so much.
