We are still in Baroda, far from Mumbai. A friend just woke us to this horrifying news. Needless to say our travel plans to Mumbai this weekend are cancelled.
Hi guys - We are so happy to hear you are OK! Sophie and Sam were so worried! Today is Thanksgiving and needless to say, it will not be the same without you guys. I am making a turkey for the first time, I'm also making spinach Quiche (with your mommy's recipe). A funny story about Sophie and Sam... they now play Ring around the Rosie. It's really cute, Sophie loves to hold Sam's hand. At first, he took his hand away but now he likes it too. So when we get started with Ring around the Rosie, Sam knows the "all fall down" part and as soon as we start around the circle, he falls down! He is so pleased with himself when he does it, knowing he did a good thing. The only problem is, he doesn't understand that you are supposed to get up again and play. And, he's really getting way too heavy to pick up anymore. He runs fast now.... he looks so funny, his legs are still so chubby, that he waddles more than runs. We also brought our slide in from the outside and put it in the basement. He is almost able to get up the ladder by himself. And, when he slides down, it's so funny, he lands right on his butt. But, no crying at all - he's got lots of padding there! Have a great Thanksgiving - we'll miss you! Love, Aunt Sandy, Uncle Andy, Sophie and Sam
We are so relieved! Nat and I have been following your blog and were very worried. Sloan and Hailey are amazing writers and should be proud.
